The 2° stakeholder open webinar of the CBD: “Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Transition: Linkages to the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework”

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Tuesday 23 March 2021, the second Stakeholder Open Webinar organised by the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) was held to explore and identify key concepts and issues related to the development of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. The focus of the webinar was on “Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Transition: Linkages to the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework”. The IPC, as global platform which brings together small-scale food producers involved in the conservation, sustainable use, development and governance of agricultural biodiversity, had the opportunity to participate in the webinar as a speaker through Tammi Jonas, President of the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance and one of the coordinators of the Working Group on Agricultural Biodiversity of the IPC.
